Even with all my plans set for healthier eating, higher-protein, lower-carbohydrate, and exercise slots written in to my diary...... sometimes plans just don't work out. Having damaged some muscles and joints in an accident 2 weeks ago, exercise has been off the agenda. For the first time that I can recall, I've actually missed doing exercise and wanted to do some ! Not sure if this is the start of a new attitude in me, or just some of the usual "grass is always greener" perspective. However I'm encouraged by this - even while at the same time being discouraged that I of course haven't lost any weight during this time (as I've been effectively immobile).
So even if plans have come to a slight halt.. I'm still absolutely determined to lose this weight, and I always knew it was going to be a long, slow process.
